Evelyn Roloff SOUTH PORTLAND – Evelyn Roloff, 77, of South Portland died on May 23, 2023 at Maine Medical Center after a brief illness. Evelyn was born in Portland Maine and raised in South Portland where she lived most of her life. After graduating from South Portland High School, she went to work in the office for First National Stores where she met her future husband, Tony. Tony and Evelyn moved to Presque Isle soon after getting married where she received her teaching degree from UMPI. When they moved back to South Portland to start a family, she went to work for Fairchild Semiconductor before realizing her dream of owning beachfront property by operating a hotel in Old Orchard Beach with her husband.
