Memorial Day events will be held around Maine to honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Cape Elizabeth A parade will begin at 9 a.m. on Memorial Day at the intersection of Fowler Road and Old Ocean House Road, continues north on Route 77, west onto Scott Dyer Road and ending at the War Veteran's Memorial between the Pond Cove and Middle schools.A brief ceremony and laying of the wreath is held at the monument.Following the ceremony, residents and guests are invited to an Open House at the Town Center Fire Station.
